    Work Experience

 

REAL PROPERTY ORIENTED JOBS:

 

Right-of-Way Agent, Audubon Engineering Companies, Kingsland, Georgia, 1/2015-8/2015; I conducted research for property titles in county venues, corporate ownership records with state agencies, parcel tax histories, and maintained landowner contacts/communications relating to a multi-jurisdictional (FL-GA-SC) petroleum products pipeline project.

Survey Rodman, U. C. Synergetic, Tampa, Florida, 2/2005-8/2012; I conducted field surveys and data collection as part of a two-man crew measuring as-builts, topographic, wetlands, parcel boundaries, easements/rights-of-way and special purpose projects. This work was done predominately for power utility and cell communication company clients throughout Florida. Also conducted county records research with deed clerk’s and tax assessor’s offices to establish pertinent ownership information for areas where survey operations were being conducted.

 

RETAIL SALES/CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED JOBS:

 

Various Titles (Housekeeping Associate, Sales Associate, Customer Service Associate, Merchandise Support Associate, Freight Associate, Plumbing Associate, Service Writer), I was employed by Staples, Camping World, Sams Club, Sports and Recreation, Builders Square/Hechingers, Dillards and J. C. Penneys; 1/1995-2/2005; I  worked in merchandise receiving and distribution, inventory balancing and stocking/replenishment, store opening, closing and recovery operations, customer service, in-store kiosk orders, cashiering, firearms purchase background verifications, and building and grounds maintenance.

 

LEGAL/LAND ORIENTED JOBS:

 

          Attorney - Self-employed; Houston, Texas.   Landman, Recruiting Coordinator, Attorney, Senior Landman-Acquisitions and Divestitures - Atlantic Richfield Company and Ashland Oil, Inc.; Denver, Colorado, Dallas and Houston, Texas, 3/1982-12/1991; In my law practice, I represented primarily energy industry clients and start-up ventures in transactional matters such as contract reviews, negotiation and drafting trade agreements, written legal advisories/memoranda covering specific liability issues for corporate client groups (e. g., HR, Operations, Engineering, Financial/Accounting), and due diligence investigations for producing property purchase and sale prospects. In my in-house land/legal jobs, I conducted title research in numerous venues, lease acquisitions, damage settlements and releases, joint venture agreement negotiation and contract drafting, litigation management, statutory/regulatory compliance, division order disbursement advice, surface facilities and pipeline removal and abandonment agreements and due diligence assessments for property acquisitions. I also had supervisory responsibilities for field lease brokers and a small corporate legal staff comprised of a junior attorney, two paralegals and administrative/secretarial personnel.
